Hello all! Welcome to the UW-La Crosse Financial Aid Blog page, Not Just Wingin’ It. We are UW-L students here to bring the rest of our student body a relatable and different view of finances and money. As most of us here at UW-L, we have definitely mastered the art of spending money but as of recent, more about how to spend less, save more, and be thrifty, frugal, and smart about our budgets, finances, and money. That being said this blog will have stories, financial challenges, important articles, videos, and images that students can watch, skim, and comment on. We challenge students and readers to attempt and hopefully compete and complete in our money saving, credit raising, spending less, debt reducing challenges to increase your financial awareness, literacy, and amount in your bank account.
Our main goal is to make this page relevant and something students can use while in college and to prepare for life after college (some call it “the real world”). Frankly, we are in the real world while still in college because a large amount of the choices we make today with our money will affect us in the future.
